Why Board at Happy Dog?

We are one of the few truly crate-free boarding options! Whether your dog stays at the Daycare in Ellicott City or at the Farm in Mt. Airy, they will be spending the days playing with friends and the night in cozy crate free accommodations. Or even upgrade your pup to stay in-home with a person overnight.

Our pricing is uncomplicated and easy to understand; we don't tack on a bunch of charges. You pay per 24 hour period, and for that price your pup attends daycare during the day, gets fed their own food and any medications they may require, and receives lots of love and snuggles!

*Bookings over holidays are subject to an extra $10 per day.
These dates include...
-5 days before and after Easter and Thanksgiving,
-December 17th to January 2nd,
-Both the day of and any adjoining weekend days for Valentines,
Fourth of July, Memorial Day, and Labor Day.

In-Home Boarding
For the most spoiled pups, join daycare by day, and stay with one of our experienced staff members homes by night. This option is the best of both worlds, play during the day and have human attention and home comforts at night. Also includes text communication and photos
Dogs are subject to passing the daycare evaluation and will need to be matched into an ideal staff household. (ie: are they ok with children, cats, etc...) Not all dogs can be accepted for in home boarding, and availability is very limited, ask a staff member if you are interested or need more information

We offer some options to make your pups stay extra special and for your comfort and convenience as well. Ask a staff member to add any of the following to your pups stay
​
15 Minute Walk - $10 - Your pup will get some time out of the building on a 15 minute walk. This is a great option for overnight stays. It breaks up the day, gets your dog outside with all its sights and smells and will satisfy your dogs natural curiosity and drive to explore!
​
Face Time Call - $10 - We already know you'll miss your dog while you're gone, but they're just a call away! Schedule a 5 minute facetime call one on one with your pup to stay in touch.
​
Bath/Haircut - $Varies - Want to pick up a clean, well groomed pup? We can spritz em' up the day they're scheduled to go home to wash off the dirt and make sure they smell better than they did at drop off. Check our grooming page for pricing and options.
