Any dog seeking to join the Happy Dog Family will first

need to undergo an evaluation day.

 

Why do we do an evaluation?

We want to know that your pup will fit right in with all of our other pack members! Making sure all of our dogs "vibe" together is the best way to ensure their safety and happiness! We will gauge how your pup does being left here, with our staff, and then slowly one or two at a time with the other dogs. Playful dogs will quickly make it into the group while for nervous dogs we will take our time to gain trust and get them comfortable as we can.

What do you need for an evaluation?

You will need to fill out our new client information on the reservations portal and sign a few agreements. We will also need proof of vet records showing that your dog has been to the vet and is up-to-date on their Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper (DHLPP), the K9 influenza vaccinations. These can be a physical copy or emailed.

I'm ready to set up my  dogs evaluation, what should I do next?

You can schedule your dogs first day by either calling us during business hours or filling out the appropriate information on the reservations tab of our website. If you go with the form we will call or email you to confirm the date and time. FILLING IT OUT ALONE IS NOT CONFIRMATION OF YOUR BOOKING, PLEASE WAIT FOR US TO CONFIRM!

 

That day we will need your dog for at least 3 hours the first day but longer is fine too! We can schedule evaluation days for weekdays with drop-off after 8AM unless scheduled a over week out. Get in touch and we'll get your pup over to play!
