At Happy Dog Care, Inc., we know that your pets are part of the family, and we make them part of our family while they’re here—whether they come for a day or spend a whole vacation with us.
We are accredited by the PCSA – Pet Care Services Association (formerly ABKA or the American Boarding Kennel Association), which requires participating boarding kennels to demonstrate their adherence to a comprehensive set of operational standards. These standards include over 200 detailed requirements for boarding kennels and were developed over many years by the PCSA, the international trade association for the owners and operators of commercial boarding kennels. The standards reflect the views of kennel operators, veterinarians, pet owners, and humane organizations and thus represent the "state of the art" in animal care and management. Boarding kennels accredited by the PCSA must submit detailed information about their animal care procedures and business policies and submit to an on-site inspection. This program offers pet owners the assurance that accredited facilities have earned the PCSA “stamp of approval” by successfully completing this comprehensive program.

Minimum Qualifications – Are you an animal lover that can deal with flexible schedules, lots of doggy kisses, and the occasional puppy puddles? Do you have experience working with groups of dogs or are you super willing to learn? Are you self-motivated, able to follow guidelines set for the safety of the animals no matter what, and have a working knowledge of basic computer skills? Most of all do you want a job where the "clients" are always happy to see you? Then this could be the job for you!
